a year ago I got to experience my first 200 mile backpacking journey across northern Spain! How did this come about? Well, as a stretch therapist, I have a client (+friend) names Francisco; he’s been with me for over 4 years (since I opened my small business) and he has walked the camino over 23x. He is now 72 yo and he still backpacks Spain every year. He would thank me often telling me how I help his physical body continue his yearly adventures into his senior years. He would talk to me about all the beautiful experiences he would have on el camino during every session.. until one year he said “it is your turn to go” and that I did. He taught me everything he knew & guided my way.

now, it is my turn to share it with others. why? because it is a beautiful, therapeutic, mind altering, inner world expanding, amazing experience and my heart must pay it forward. In addition, as I continue to do my life’s work here be like agua and expand on my why for this community space of growth and development, I realized that a big part of my inspiration to open this community space came from the amazing travel experiences i’ve had in the past. I truly believe traveling and exploring other parts of the world, immersing ourself in culture and expanding our mind is a critical part of our evolution. We are a part of a big beautiful planet and taking myself out of the bubble of the usual environment, people and culture to go explore the diversity of humanity around the world; has taught me more than I could ever truly convey. if there is any way to explain it, I would say ..it’s that feeling that we can never quite put into words but we all feel it. That mystical breeze that confirms there is so much more to life than what meets the eye.

following that iiner compass is what has brought me to so many living miracle and my life’s purpose is to share what I can to the best of my current every evolving abilities…because I am always learning and growing myself.

as Francisco would say, The moment you learn about el camino and consider the experience, the camino has already began!
